Our History

courtyard

Tucked away in the far side of a courtyard, behind a leafy-green wrought iron gate, awaits the main entrance to San Francisco Day School. Its unassuming stucco facade blends into the surrounding neighborhood, which includes the sprawling University of San Francisco campus to the west, a blood bank to the north, and an African Methodist Episcopal church to the south...but to those in the know, just beyond the cream-colored Spanish archways, a miracle of sorts awaits. The school at 350 Masonic Avenue is a living example of the adage, "Where there's a will, there's a way."
