All camps run 9:00a.m.-3:00p.m. with arrival window between 8:15-9:00a.m.

Upper School students will be leaders during their times as CITs as they help younger students have a safe and fun camp experience. CITs will learn how to help manage conflict, prepare and lead activities, and act as role models to their campers all while being part of the fun camp experience!
SF Explorers (Rising 1st-3rd Grade)
Fee: $675
This camp is designed to get students outdoors and learn about the world around them, with a focus on exploring the treasures of San Francisco. We will spend the majority of this camp exploring and learning about the city from a new perspective. Students will get to know the San Francisco parks through hikes, museum visits, and geocaching. Be ready to move, explore and create!
Chess Camp (Rising 1st-2nd Grade)
Fee: $675
Join our chess camp to improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle - your brain! Campers will have an opportunity to elevate their strategic thinking and delve into the intricacies of the royal game. Through a blend of engaging lessons, interactive challenges, and spirited gameplay, campers will learn the fundamentals of this timeless game and foster positive sportsmanship.
Adventures in Pop Art (Rising 1st-5th Grade)
Fee: $675
The most colorful and playful art movement is here to inspire us to create fun art projects influenced by the playfulness of Keith Haring, the bold colors and prints of Andy Warhol, polka dots and patterns by Yayoi Kusama and more! All projects are fun and we'll play with collage, painting, printmaking, and drawing all while learning about the cool ways these artists used their creativity. We'll have an art show at the end of the week to celebrate all your creations!
Kitchen Kickstart: Restaurateurs (Rising 4th-8th Grade)
Fee: $675
Students will have the opportunity to exercise their creativity, teamwork, and management skills through the development of their own restaurant. During this camp, students will design, plan, and stage a restaurant. Students will design menus, plan recipes, and curate the restaurant of their dreams! The week-long camp will culminate with an opportunity for families to attend the restaurant’s grand opening.
Dungeons & Dragons (Rising 5th-8th Grade)
Fee: $675
This is a camp where imaginative students thrive. Campers will develop unique characters and explore the world of fantasy that is Dungeons and Dragons. This role-playing game is designed for campers to use their imagination, collaboration, teamwork, and storytelling skills. Over the course of the week, campers will play in a group with others to learn the basics. Daily activities will include learning the rules, and playing the game, and crafts centered around the adventure. This camp is especially good for students who are willing to play as a character and take a risk to run a fun game for others. All levels of experience are encouraged!
Speech Camp (Rising 5th-8th Grade)
Fee: $675
Students will spend a week with nationally renowned Summit Debate coaches learning about the foundations of competitive Speech events including Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, Declamation and Impromptu Speaking. Students will learn how to create dynamic characters, block out scenes to tell a creative story, and build overall confidence in public speaking and performance. Students will leave camp prepared to enter into competitive Speech competitions and will participate in a camp showcase at the end of the week.

Adventures in Comics & Storytelling (Rising 1st-5th Grade)

For all the kids interested in comics, graphic novels, zine making, and book creating this is the camp to be! We'll create our own characters, tell their stories, learn how to add fun elements to the page and make copies to trade with your friends. You’ll be exercising your drawing, writing, and creating skills all while having fun with friends. There will be plenty of time to get outside for group games and challenges as well!
Spy Academy (Rising 1st-3rd Grade)

Welcome to Spy Academy, where curiosity meets covert operations! This camp is designed to ignite the imagination of young minds while unraveling the secrets of science and espionage. Our campers will embark on a thrilling journey, blending the wacky world of silly science experiments with the intrigue of spy tactics. Get ready for a week filled with laughter, discovery, and a dash of mystery! Activities: making invisible ink, decoding messages, creating spy gadgets, going on secret missions, learning the properties of polymers, and having fun with bioluminescence are a few of the things we'll do.

Come try on your acting and playwriting hat in theater camp! In this camp, you will build confidence and sharpen your acting skills through fun & active theater games and exercises. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively on a student-led play that we will perform in SF Day’s new theater at the end of the week.
Dance (Rising 1st-5th Grade)

Whether you are an experienced dancer or just love to move your body this camp will be sure to keep you on your toes! You will spend the week learning new steps and routines while playing games and working collaboratively with friends. You will also learn, rehearse and refine a dance to perform in SF Day’s theater at the end of the week.
Set Design (Rising 1st-8th Grade)

If you love to create, innovate, construct, and collaborate this camp is for you! In this hands-on camp you will have the opportunity to envision, design and construct set pieces for the stage. You will learn new design, construction and artistic skills all while bringing a collaborative vision to life! The set pieces you create will be used for the culminating performances at the end of the week.
Theater Tech and Production (Rising 3rd-8th Grade)

If you are interested in the behind the scenes work of theater presentation this camp is for you. Over the week you will learn about lighting design, stage management, and sound direction. The tech cohort will learn how to skillfully operate the equipment in SF Day’s new theater. At the end of the week you will put your new skills into practice for the week's culminating performances.
Debate Camp: Congressional Style Debate (Rising 5th-8th Grade)
Fee: $675
Students will work with nationally renowned Summit Debate coaches to learn about the fundamentals of Student Congress, a competitive debate event. Students will examine the role of government, policy making, and argumentation as part of a congressional style debate. Additionally, students will learn and incorporate effective models of argumentation, logical reasoning, cross-examination, research methods and create speeches for camp debates. Students will participate in a Student Congress showcase at the end of camp and be prepared for competition.

Dolphin Olympics (Rising 1st-3rd Grade)

Get out and play this week with our multi-sport camp for all ages! This camp will focus on developing teamwork, coordination, and good sportsmanship in a wide variety of sports. Campers will work hard and play hard in daily games and activities to build skills and confidence in sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, and more! Students will explore team building by creating team flags and cheering one another on throughout the games!
Adventures in Spanish (Rising 1st-4th Grade)

Join Ms. Ariana for Spanish camp this summer! Students will be transported to Spanish-speaking countries by combining culture and stories plus games and activities. Each day will include immersive, fun, and creative projects integrating one key element; the richness of Spanish language and culture!
Drawing Data (Rising 4th-8th Grade)

Have you ever tried to draw your breath? Or a surprised triangle? Or how music makes you feel? Discover the ordinary patterns in your everyday life and draw them into something extraordinary with Ms Srikar! In this class, we will learn to see our world through a new lens, observe and collect data in everything around us, then bring that data to life through visual art.
Photography (Rising 5th-8th Grade)

Self expression never goes out of style! Join us on a weeklong summer adventure where budding photographers dive into the art of journalistic storytelling through the lens. From mastering the basics of photography, including light, subject, and composition, to the realm of photo editing, students craft their visual narratives. Join us for a journey where creativity knows no bounds, and self-expression is captured frame by frame. Inspire your young storyteller to share their unique perspective with the world in an immersive, fun-filled week of learning, discovery, and creative expression.
Debate Camp: Public Forum Debate (Rising 5th-8th Grade)
Fee: $675
Students will work with nationally renowned Summit Debate coaches to learn about the fundamentals of Public Forum Debate, a competitive debate event. Students will examine one of the proposed national public forum debate topic areas for the 2024-2025 school year. Students will learn and incorporate effective models of argumentation, logical reasoning, cross-examination, research methods into prepared and extemporaneous style debate cases for camp debates. Students will participate in a camp debate tournament at the end of camp and will be prepared for debate competitions in the fall.

Mix It Up: Space Explorers (Rising 1st-2nd Grade)

This camp is jam-packed with a variety of outer space activities for students to explore. From storytelling to spaceship building, campers will explore the great beyond through a daily mix of indoor and outdoor projects, games, and art activities. Campers will have opportunities to exercise their creative side while also engaging in team games students have never played before.
Sports Explorers (Rising 3rd-5th Grade)

Get outdoors and play this week while exploring city parks & nature. We will spend time playing team games and participating in an array of field games at nearby parks. Our exploratory time will be spent observing & learning about our environment while our downtime will be spent crafting & creating. Come prepared to play and learn all week while enjoying our nearby natural spaces!
Maker Lab and Gardening (Rising 2nd-5th Grade)

In this camp, students will split their time between exploring the rooftop garden and creating unique inventions in the classroom. In the garden, students will help take care of the flowers and vegetables, learn to identify the plants and insects that share our soil, and prepare garden snacks made with school-grown veggies! Students will have daily opportunities to let their imaginations run free with Maker choices such as 3d printing, Cricut digital cutter, hot glue projects, and stop motion movies.
Digital Music Production (Rising 5th-8th Grade)
Fee: $675
Join Mr. Smith in a fun new camp exploring different ways of composing music with various “outside of the box” digital tools. We will use apps on our iPads, web-based software, and computers. We may also explore digitally notating and recording music. Some of the resources we will use are: Typatone, Groove Pizza, Chrome Music Lab, Mario Paint., flat.io, Patatap, and Garage Band.
Week 6 (July 22-26)

In this camp we will collaboratively imagine, design and put together a carnival of our very own! Our fellow SF Day camp cohorts will get to experience our carnival in final form on the last day of camp, Friday July 26th.
Book Voyagers (Rising 4th-8th Grade)

Calling all bookworms for a literary journey in Book Voyagers! This camp will focus on stories, storytelling, writing, and book creation. It is designed for readers, writers, and anyone who enjoys the magic of stories. We will dive into captivating tales, engage in thought-provoking discussions, participate in writers' workshops, and create our own books.

Calling all junior chefs and culinary artists! Each day, campers will be given a mystery ingredient basket to inspire their cooking creations. Students will research recipes, menu plan, and experiment with their ingredient-based challenge. This is an opportunity to exercise creativity, teamwork, and management skills in the kitchen!

Students will also develop their physical coordination, self-confidence, musicality, and stage presence through structured dance classes, improv games, character studies, and performances!

Monster Magic is a unique and interactive event that invites participants to enter a fantastical realm filled with mythical creatures, epic quests, and magical landscapes. We will create our own characters, complete with unique abilities, backstories, and costumes, embark on thrilling adventures, engage in LARPing (Live Action Role-Playing), encounter mythical creatures, and participate in epic quests.

Ever want to make your own print, pattern, or sew your own apparel? In this camp, you will get the chance to explore the world of textile design. From macrame to embroidery, dyeing to printmaking, you will have the opportunity to try various mediums and take home your wearable designs. We will even be able to use some of the cool machines in our Innovation Lab to help us design and create!

Lights, camera action! Embark on an exciting cinematic adventure this summer. Delve into the captivating history and fundamental principles of filmmaking. From the intricacies of storytelling to mastering camera angles, students will build a strong foundation for their filmmaking endeavors. Through hands-on experiences, they'll gain invaluable insights into the art of filmmaking, culminating in the creation of their own short film masterpiece. Join in the exploration of creativity and storytelling, and let this summer be the platform for an unforgettable cinematic journey!

This week of AEP will be spent off campus adventuring to different parts of San Francisco. Each day will be filled with fun activities such as: exploring at the beach, hiking through Twin Peaks, and playing large group games at various parks. The schedule will be:
