2021-22 Parent Association Volunteer Form

Welcome! There are many ways to share your time and passion with the SF Day community, and we are grateful for your interest. While we are hopeful that there will be more opportunities for in-person volunteering during the next academic year, we will need to comply with health and safety protocols. Please sign up for any activities that look interesting and let us know if you have questions. Thank you!

Get ready to be creative and have fun! We may need parents/guardians to support our art department this year. If you're interested in learning more, let us know!
Traditionally, our families have their photos taken, which are displayed at school for the community to see together. We are exploring ways to showcase and celebrate all of the wonderful families this year.
Each year, we find ways to support our school library and celebrate our community's love of reading.
Every year, we invite grandparents and special friends to get to know SF Day and see what their grandchildren and little friends have been doing at school.
Join SF Day Fest 2022! SF Day Fest is our biggest annual community and fundraising event, with proceeds benefitting our discounted tuition program. Volunteering for SF Day Fest is a great way to get involved and make friends outside your grade(s)!
IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity and Equity in Action) is all about providing opportunities for the parent/guardian community to discuss, learn about, and engage in diversity, equity, and inclusion, at SF Day. Interested in sharing aspects of your culture, connecting with other members of the community, or furthering your education about topics related to diversity, equity, inclusion and justice? We would love for you to join us!
Room Parents are our leaders! They have many responsibilities that vary by grade and year. Room Parents are always encouraged to: support our teachers, communicate with their classes about SF Day events/activities, create an inclusive and welcoming community, and foster our culture of volunteerism. While some priority is given to parents/guardians who express interest early, experience and a record of volunteerism are important factors in assigning Room Parents. Every effort is made to accommodate all interested parents/guardians within the finite number of RP positions available each year. Thankfully, there are many other volunteer opportunities that allow you to be a part of your child's experience and the broader community.
