Our Board of Trustees

The Advancement Committee works with the school's Advancement Team to plan and execute development and fundraising activities that support the school's program

The Building and Grounds Committee works closely with the Business Office, Head of School, and Operations Manager to advise and plan long-term maintenance and improvements to the campus.

The Board approves the school's annual budget, which includes setting tuition and ensuring the program operates within fiscal limits. The Board acts as fiduciaries of the SF Day endowment funds and its physical assets, as support all of the school’s fundraising efforts.   

The Board of Trustees is the Governing body of the school, and delegates operational responsibilities on the HoS. The Board establishes policies and processes to ensure that the overall program experience is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the School.

The Strategy Committee most recently directed the school's process for updating the language of the Mission. Ongoing work includes responding to recommendations from the CAIS accreditation committee and working with the Head of School to formulate the next Strategic Plan prior to the next Accreditation visit in 2026.
